This works for me on my own machine, but the resulting executable fails on a machine without SDL installed on it.

A little searching showed that I needed to add one line to the project settings:

* Select your project in the left hand pane
* Select your target
* Select the "Build Settings" tab
* Find the "Runtime Search Paths" setting and add the following value: `@loader_path/../Frameworks`

Hope this helps!

grumbler,

As far as I know PDFKit is not available for iPad. Read the following Stack Overflow question:

This a pretty random find I had, but if you want the save dialog to only ask WHERE to save the file and not WHAT and WHERE, you must name one of the fields productName. Hope this saves someone the hours it took me.

exy,

SDLMain.m and .h come with the Mac version of SDL. They are in the devel-lite folder.

SDL is very picky in how you define the main() function in your game. If you don't define it properly, you get the link error you described. The start of your main() function should look like the following:

<code>int main(int argc, char *argv[])</code>

Thanks for the tips Mark. I found that idevgames.com is a good place to go too. My one final question would be what frameworks am I supposed to include? I have SDL_image, SDL_mixer, SDL_ttf, SDL, and the Cocoa framework all linked together, but I get a Mach-O Linker error for some reason (see error message below). Is there another framework that I am missing?
What I am doing is calling a function in SDLmain.m that hides my application from my main.cpp.

// Code in SDLMain.m
void HideMySDLApp(void)
{
    [NSApp hide:nil];
}

// Code in main.cpp
if (keypressed[LCOMMAND] && keypressed[Hh])
        {
            extern void HideMySDLApp(void);
            HideMySDLApp();
        }

}

Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:
  "HideMySDLApp()", referenced from:
      unknown() in main.o
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

"unknown() is the name of my function."
